At

customs information for travellers
Planning to go on a business trip or
holiday? Get your copy of the Information Card or I-Card with
important information on customs regulations and procedures
to ensure smooth entry clearance upon
your return!
The attractive and handy pocket-sized I-Card keeps travellers
arriving in Singapore informed of the tax concessions and reliefs
they are entitled to, as well as the restrictions on items that
can be brought into the country.
It contains useful snippets on duty-free liquor concessions,
Goods and Services Tax (GST) relief and items that are controlled
or prohibited in Singapore.
It is distributed to air, sea and land passengers in the country
of boarding or before arrival in Singapore through the assistance
of airlines and ferry and coach operators.
The I-Card initiative is part of Singapore Customs’ efforts
to make it easy for both visiting tourists and returning Singaporeans
to comply with customs rules and regulations.
It complements the many existing channels by which information
on customs requirements is provided to travellers. These include
prominently displayed signs and plasma screens at the various
checkpoints, brochures in multiple languages and the Singapore
Customs website.
