Exporters

For non-controlled and non-dutiable items exported by sea or air, you may export your goods first and obtain the OUT Permits within 3 days after export. Please refer to our Export Requirements regarding movement of goods for exports.

If you are not a TradeNet® user, you may:
  1. appoint a TradeNet® declaring agent such as: TradeNet® Service Centre, freight forwarder or cargo agent to declare your exports;
  2. provide the export invoice and Bill of Lading/Air Waybill to your TradeNet® declaring agent for them to declare your exports;
  3. collect the Permit from your TradeNet® declaring agent after it has been approved.
You will need to apply for the Strategic Goods TradeNet® permit if the strategic goods that you are exporting, transhipping, or bringing in transit are subject to control under the Strategic Goods (Control) Order 2007, or if they are meant for weapons of mass destruction (WMD) purposes.
