We adopt the risk management approach to classify the facilitations into 5 bands - Basic, Standard, Intermediate, Enhanced and Premium.
The higher your TradeFIRST rating with Singapore Customs, the more facilitations you can enjoy. A company that qualifies for a higher band will get the facilitations in that band as well as those facilitations in the lower bands, provided certain essential criteria of the specificfacilitations are met.
Generally, to qualify for any schemes or programmes like Licensed Warehouse Scheme, the company must at least be assessed to be in the Standard band.
Companies assessed to be in the Basic band will continue to enjoy generic facilitation such as TradeNet account, Temporary Import Scheme etc. The Basic band also covers companies that are not assessed under the Framework.
The Five Bands
Facilitation and schemes are grouped according to the following 5 bands:
Premium band
Enhanced band
Intermediate band
Standard band
Basic band
