1. The import and export of endangered wildlife species are regulated by AVA, Quarantine and Inspection Department (QID), Wildlife Section.

2. When you prepare your Import or Export Permit Application, you must declare in the permit application:

i) in the Description of Goods field, the following:

a)     common name                   )

b)    scientific name                   ) of wildlife species

c)     quantity & unit                   )

d)    country of origin                  )

e)     type of product eg. skins    )

 

ii) the product information in the:

a)     CA/SC Product Code field - e.g. CMP2NSATAH for Saiga Antelope (Saiga Tatarica) Horns

b)    CA/SC Product Quantity field - e.g. 10.00

CA/SC Product Unit of Quantity field - e.g. KGS
