The CAIA is offered to the Cargo Agents located in the Changi Free Trade Zone and the Airport Logistics Park of Singapore (ALPS) in view of the time-sensitive nature of the cargo and infrastructure of Changi Airport. Under the CAIA, cargo agents can take delivery of their cargo from SATS/CIAS to their warehouse(s) for breaking bulk prior to obtaining the necessary Inward/ Outward/ Transhipment Permits.
