Application for Secure Trade Partnership (STP)

To apply for the STP programme, a company should adhere to the following steps:

Step 1: The company should submit the following documents,

(a)

Application Form (366KB, DOC) for the STP programme;

 

 

(b)

An introduction of the company;


(c)

Completed TradeFIRST self-assessment checklist

(d)

Supporting documents which include:

 

  • Security measures put in place by the company to enhance the security of the company’s supply chain;
  • Process map(s) that illustrates the flow of goods and documentation/information through the company’s supply chain. Please refer to Annex C of the "Handbook on Secure Trade Partnership" (351KB, PDF) for the Fact Sheet on Company’s Process Map; and
  • Site plan(s) that shows the layout of the company’s premises and clearly identifies all perimeters, access areas, buildings, structures, security and access controls. Please refer to Annex D of the "Handbook on Secure Trade Partnership(351KB, PDF) for the Fact Sheet on Company’s Site Plan.
 

(e)

Copy of the company's relevant security accreditations; and

 


 

(f)

Any other relevant supporting documents as mentioned in the TradeFIRST self-assessment checklist.

Please send your completed STP application to Singapore Customs:

  • Via fax to 6337 9956; or
  • By mail to Singapore Customs, 55 Newton Road, #07-01, Revenue House, Singapore 307987. Attention to Schemes and Licensing Branch.

Step 2: After the submission of the relevant supporting documents, Singapore Customs will conduct an on-site validation to assess on the company’s application and eligibility.  The on-site assessment result will determine whether the company qualifies for the STP or STP-Plus status.
