National Authority

As the National Authority, Singapore Customs administers a validation and certification process for companies that would like to participate in the STP programme.

Singapore Customs also works closely with other government agencies such the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration and Checkpoints Authority and Maritime Port Authority of Singapore, etc, in administering the STP programme.

Singapore Customs recognises the importance of keeping trade flowing and secure. We also recognise that the twin goals of facilitating trade and ensuring supply chain security is a shared responsibility between the government and industry stakeholders, and this can only be achieved by Singapore Customs and industry working closely in a partnership approach.
