Training Assistance and Development Schemes

To assist companies to enhance their capabilities in supply chain security, Singapore Customs is working with the Economic Development Board (EDB) and SPRING Singapore on training assistance scheme and development programme.

Initiatives in New Technology (INTECH) Scheme by EDB

The Initiatives in New Technology (INTECH) Scheme is a training assistance programme to encourage manpower development in applying new technologies, industrial R&D and professional know-how within companies. The scheme awards grants to offset costs related to the introduction or development of these new capabilities.

Additional information is available on the EDB’s website. Please click here for the URL.

Logistics Capability Development Programme (CDP) by SPRING Singapore

The Logistics CDP aims to enhance the competitiveness of Singapore's logistics sector by supporting local logistics SMEs in capability development efforts such as process improvement, development of new services, IT deployment etc. SPRING Singapore will evaluate the projects/proposed initiatives. The initiatives should meet the following criteria:

  • Develop new capabilities that significantly improve productivity and/or value-added per worker
  • Lead to significant contributions to the logistics sector

Logistics SMEs interested to participate in the Logistics CDP may contact the EnterpriseOne hotline at 6898 1800 or email to enterpriseone@spring.gov.sg.
