Under the requirements of the Chemical Weapons Convention in Article VI, each State Party is required to make annual declarations to OPCW regarding the relevant scheduled chemicals and controlled activities.

The types of declarations required to be submitted to OPCW includes:

1. Annual Declaration of Anticipated Activities (ADAA) for the coming year
2. Annual Declaration of Past Activities (ADPA) for the preceding year
3. Ad Hoc Declaration (AH) on Additionally Planned Activities
4. Advanced Notification of Transfer of Schedule 1 Chemical(s)
