The U.S. Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) Program will be organizing a one-day export control seminar on 20 Nov 2013, with key speakers from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry; U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS); Singapore Customs and the private sector. Manufacturers, exporters, logistics providers, freight forwarders and researchers dealing with strategic goods or strategic goods technology are encouraged to attend the Seminar.
The Seminar will provide a good opportunity for you to enhance your understanding of recent developments regarding the Strategic Trade Controls of the participating countries. Topics that will be covered include an update on the U.S. export control reform and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s requirements and best practices, update on Japan’s requirements and best practices, and update on Singapore’s regime. There will also be sharing on international best practices and update on strategic trade developments in the region by the private sector.
