Singapore Customs is organising a one-day export control seminar on 23 May 2011, with key speakers from the Japanese Security Export Control Policy Division; Hong Kong's Strategic Trade Control Branch; US Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS); Malaysia's Strategic Trade Secretariat; Germany's Federal Office of Economics and Export Control; and Singapore Customs.

Manufacturers, exporters, logistics providers, freight forwarders, researchers and individuals dealing with strategic goods or strategic goods technology are encouraged to attend the Seminar.

The Seminar will provide a good opportunity for you to enhance your understanding of recent developments regarding the Strategic Trade Controls of the participating countries.

Each participant will be charged a registration fee of $128.40 (inclusive of GST) to attend this seminar.

Registration and Placement

Your attendance will only be confirmed upon receipt of registration fees. You can pay by:

1. Cheque made payable to "Singapore Customs". Please submit the cheque along with the registration form by hand/mail to the above listed address, Attn Helen Wong, TSSB.

2. Interbank Giro. You should already have an IBG account with us. Please provide your bank details (Company Name, UEN Number) when your registration form is submitted, by fax or email.

Important Notes:

The closing date for registration has been extended to 20 May 2011, 12 pm.
Successful applicants will be notified via email/fax by 20 May 2011.
Request for invoice could be emailed together with the Registration Form to Helen Wong.
Tea-breaks and lunch will be provided. All food provided will have no pork/lard.
