The Strategic Goods (Control) (Amendment) Order 2011 (PDF 30.6KB) has been gazetted and takes effect from 1 Jan 2012. It consists of selected updates adopted by the four multilateral export control regimes.   

Henceforth, please refer to the Strategic Goods (Control) (Amendment) Order 2011 and the Strategic Goods (Control) Order 2010 (PDF 810KB) when referring to the control list.

The Strategic Goods (Control) Order 2009 (PDF 774KB) has been rescinded and replaced with the Strategic Goods (Control) Order 2010 (PDF 810KB) to include updates to the four multilateral export control regimes. The control list is based on the revisions to the European Union (EU)'s List of Dual-Use Items and Technology (updated in May 2009) and the Wassenaar Arrangement's Munitions List (updated in Dec 2009).

The new Order (PDF 810KB) and its Corrigenda (PDF 28.2KB) are effective from 1 Apr 2010.
