| Singapore Customs was awarded the I-Class Award on 28 Feb 06 at the 1st attempt. This success is greatly attributed to the strong leadership, as well as the dedicated and conscientious effort from staff to continuously improve and innovate. |

The survey measures Customs Administrations of 60 countries on their ability to facilitate the transit of goods and create and maintain an environment which can sustain the competitiveness of enterprises.
Singapore Customs is ranked 2nd out of 24 government agencies in the Pro-Enterprise survey conducted by the Action Community for Entrepreneurs in 2007. The survey assesses compliance cost, pro-enterprise orientation, customer responsiveness, review of rules and transparency of the government agencies.

Singapore Customs was awarded Public Service Award for Organisational Excellence on 13 October 2004 for achieving organisational excellence standards under the Managing for Excellence Scheme.

Attained in July 2004, the award recognises our practice of providing an excellent family-friendly work environment that enables our staff to achieve better work-life balance.
