1. Higher Singapore Customs Officer II / Singapore Customs Officer
You are responsible for implementing and enforcing the legislation under the department's purview to assure the integrity of the trading system and promote Singapore as a global trade hub.

Your responsibilities, which demand qualities of integrity and initiative, include surveillance and investigations to suppress duty evasion and syndicate smuggling, processing permit applications, strategic goods permit applications, attending to traders' enquiries, controlling of new applications for warehouse licenses and renewal of licenses, collection of customs revenue and GST on imported and excisable goods.

If you are posted to the major checkpoints, you will be required to work shift hours and wear uniform while on duty.

You may handle office stores, works and services, administer recruitment and promotion of staff, or coordinate revenue and budget matters.
