OUTREACH ON TRADENET® VERSION 4.1 AND AHTN 2012
Participants will be introduced to the key changes for the upcoming TradeNet® version upgrade, to be implemented on 1 January 2012. TradeNet 4.1 incorporates the ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN) 2012 and the World Customs Organisation (WCO)’s Data Model to promote a uniform set of data requirements. This upgrade will also include the relaxation of permit amendment and cancellation rules to facilitate the trading community.
Participants will also gain insights into the development of the AHTN 2012, which incorporates amendments made by the ASEAN countries as well as the 2012 amendments to the HS Nomenclature introduced by the WCO. |
