Exporting of NA (CWC) Controlled Items

A valid Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) licence is mandatory before exporting any items controlled by the National Authority for the CWC (NA(CWC)).
In addition to the CWC licence, you must also secure an approved export permit for every shipment of scheduled chemicals listed under the CWC.
Information Required for Export Permit
If your export is not restricted, you may apply for an export permit via TradeNet.
Note: Permit applications are processed via TradeNet and will only be reviewed after all required documents are submitted. The processing time is typically 2 working days.
TradeNet Declaration Fields and Entry Requirements for CWC-Controlled Chemicals

CA/SC Quantity and Unit | You must enter the quantity and unit. |

Licensees planning to export any Schedule 1 chemical to Member States must notify NA(CWC) both before and after the transfer is completed.
Restrictions for Exports to Non-Member States
The following restrictions apply to exports of scheduled chemicals to non-Member States.

*Note: The End User Certificate is only required for Individual Permit applications under the Strategic Trade Scheme (STS).
Advance Notification for Schedule 1 Chemicals
If exporting Schedule 1 chemicals to Member States, you must notify NA (CWC) before and after the transfer is completed.
Strategic Goods (Control) Act Requirements
Exports of CWC chemicals also fall under Singapore’s Strategic Goods (Control) Act, which imposes additional conditions based on concentration and destination.
